I saw a journal entry from

"I'm sure that you guys have heard about the US Internet Censorship bill running it's course through the house and senate... but did you know that this effectively means that any site could get shut down for your drawing fanart as well? That would be crappy.
For example:
If you loved _______________ and decided that you wanted to draw _____ doing something awesome like __________________________________________________ and then uploaded it to ________ to show all of your friends, then that site could be shut down because that's copyright infringement (fanart actually is just that. Don't kid yourself into thinking otherwise).
Just like I did with the orphaned works act, I made a stamp to draw awareness to this thing. Also - just like with the orphaned works stamp - I'l be posting updates to the comment section of that stamp... and I encourage your guys to do so as well. Unlike with the orphaned works stamp, this is actually has the chance of going through because there's enough of a real interest in having it go through.

My second child will be one year old next month. That's bonkers.
Life goes on
Been busy with babies. My first kid is now 2, and my second is a month old. Weird to think that I actually have a family and stuff. Who trusted me with this?

And good riddance. While it's been a shitty year for me personally, it's also been kind of a shitty year for a lot of people. Also, rest in peace, Gene Wilder, Carrie Fisher, Alan Rickman, Ron Glass, David Bowie, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Kenny Baker, Anton Yelchin, Debbie Reynolds, and many many more. It seems like a chunk of the people who influenced my life died this year. All we can do now is hope that this next year is better, though it looks a little bleak, considering the fact that the new commander-in-chief is an ambulatory orange full of dog hair.

Another year gone by
Lots of stress, lots of challenges, and lots of life doing that annoying thing that life tends to do. Thank you to everyone who wished me happy birthday, (especially Icy who went out of his way to do so). It's the little things that keep me going. Love you all, and hope that even as things are, that you can all keep on keepin' on.
